Information Regarding Annual Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Inspections IN-UNIT 11/17-11/19 and 11/17 Annual Building Fire Alarm Drill (Resident Participation Optional):

It is a state and city requirement that individual residential unit alarms and sprinkler systems are inspected and tested. Siemens Building Technologies, a firm that specializes in inspecting and testing this life safety equipment, will be performing these inspections and testing the system. To perform the mandatory inspection and test, the Homeowners Association will need access to your unit for approximately ½ hour or less (usually about 5 minutes) on Tuesday, November 17th, Wednesday, November 18th, and Thursday, November 19th. The work will start at about 8:00 am each day and will begin on the higher floors and work down from there. If you haven’t yet, please Complete & Return consent form (attached) acknowledging your receipt of this letter and consenting to allow entry into your unit to perform the inspection and test. If the speaker/strobe alarm system is activated during business hours on these dates, it will be part of the testing. In the case of a true emergency, you will be notified through the building intercom system. Common Area testing is scheduled for Monday 11/16 & Friday 11/20.

On Tuesday, November 17th we will also conduct the Annual Building Fire Alarm Drill which resident participation is optional.
