Reminder: Cardboard Should Never Be Put Down the Trash Chute
Posted By rpreston on September 14, 2021
We appreciate everyone who is diligent about their recycling habits and properly breaks down all of their boxes before putting them in any of the three recycling bins on the respective floors P1, P2, & P3. Unfortunately, yesterday the trash chute was jammed with 3 resident cardboard boxes that caused a backup in the trash cute to 2nd floor and actually damaged the system that functions for fire safety. It is very important that no large articles or cardboard boxes are put down the trash chute. These items must be placed in the designated recycling or trash areas in the parking garage. For oversized items our staff can assist with pick up through our trash vendor at the resident expense. Trash Chute is only for items that can easily fall through the trash chute door and are not structured as both can cause clogs.
