Mask Mandate

Per California and SD County, masks are required to be worn in all indoor public settings, irrespective of vaccine status, for the next four weeks (December 15, 2021, through January 15, 2022). Masks are required to be worn inside the Grande North tower/building. Because these guidelines are mandated by the State and local governments, the Board of Directors has asked Management to begin enforcing the mask guidelines.

The Board has enacted a “Three-Strikes” Policy towards mask violations, where there will be three “courtesy notices” for the first three Mask Violations (this will be applied to retroactive instances as well).

Upon the 4th incident of a facial covering not worn in the common area, a Hearing Notice will be sent and this Hearing (by phone or via written correspondence) will present Homeowners the opportunity to convey information regarding the recurring incidents to the Rules Committee.

Historically, the 4th mask violation carries a $500 fine, so please be mindful of the new guidelines and don’t hesitate to reach out to Management if you have any follow up questions or concern.
